Questions about quotations
What should I include in a quotation request?
The product and grade, technical specifications, the quantity (single shipment or monthly volume and duration), packaging, any preferred origin, the destination country or port, and your preferred delivery terms such as FOB or CIF. The more complete the request, the faster we can assess it.
Do I need to send a Letter of Intent (LOI)?
For some products, including urea, Indonesian coal and petroleum products, Agromer works from a Letter of Intent issued by the end buyer before preparing a Full Corporate Offer (FCO). We will tell you if your enquiry requires one.
Which products can I request a quote for?
Fertilizers (NPK, urea, MOP, DAP and biofertilizers), agricultural commodities (ICUMSA 45 sugar, rice, wheat, yellow corn, barley, soybean and edible oils), Indonesian thermal coal, petroleum products such as EN590 diesel and Jet A1, and wood pellets. Other commodities are assessed case by case.
Are prices fixed?
No. Prices depend on market conditions at the time of the offer, the specification, quantity, packaging, origin and destination. Each offer states its own terms and validity.
How is payment handled?
Payment terms are agreed per contract and depend on the product. For agricultural commodity contracts Agromer works with 100% DLC or SBLC payment; petroleum transactions use secured procedures with payment at destination.
